Traditional Brazilian food 💛💚 Pastries, açaà bowls, feijoada, and more.
Lucimar Canedo and her daughters, Thais and Amanda Moreira are the three driving forces behind the "small empire" of Brazilian cafes in San Francisco. In 2011, after having lived in San Francisco for roughly seven years, Lucimar took over ownership of Cafe de Casa in South San Francisco. She and her daughters had previously sold their popular Brazilian goods to the restaurant and successfully negotiated an agreement with the then owner after he'd gotten behind on payment.
Fast forward to the present time, Lucimar, Thais, and Amanda now have a total of three locations in San Francisco; the original in South San Francisco, Fisherman's Wharf, and in 2020, they opened a third location in the Castro.
